In Institutes there are professors who divide their subject exams into different parts and it is mandatory for the students to pass in each sections. For e.g. Say in English, the total exam is of 100 marks and the professor has divided it in 4 parts of 25 marks each ( Grammar, Recitation, Dictation & Essay and Letter writing). The student has to clear in all the four sections to clear the English subject.
