Result / Grading

Easily calculate results, class rankings, multiple honor rolls based upon criteria you define; gather grades via manual input, proof sheets, remote / common room teacher stations or floppy disks for teacher at-home entry. Supports web based data entry of marks – student / subject wise individual or bulk. Provides the most comprehensive system available for calculating grade accuracy. Based on model of education student evaluation criteria can be based on exam results or a set of criteria’s which judge student capability. These criteria’s are used to build and define a merit matrix. The measurable levels of proficiency or rubrics / matrix can be used to evaluate a child and his capabilities which cannot be judge by the procedural examination evaluation process. Outcome / Scores from many popular / class tests can be entered which may not be used for final rank calculations. Teachers who are not computer savvy can manually enter assessed marks in proof lists which are class specific. Proof lists are then entered by qualified operators and final printout of proof list can be verified with the hand written one to overcome data entry errors. The proof sheet can be used for future reference or can be their personal record managed by individual teachers.

Ranking criteria’s

Based on various models of education and individual calculation process of various educational institutes the software allows various options to tune and change the result calculation process. Tunable options include the rounding off methods of mark’s / grades, grouped mark calculation of parent – child subject, criteria’s involving attendance history, absence in an exam due to event participation or other reasons, weighted average across exams previously conducted, practical / viva exams, sports child etc…These also dictate the grace marks distribution over various combinations of failures hence final consolidated sheets are examined to promote or retain a student in a particular class.

Customizable report cards / Reports

The software supports extremely fast printing with formatted output on a normal dot matrix printer (DMP). Like wise high quality graphical output for laser / desk / ink - jets are also supported. Based on information required to be published in a report / progress card, institute logo and other details pre printed stationery can be designed and software customized to enhance print performance. Printing report cards on letterhead paper to communicate more conveniently with parents is also supported. Reports can communicate precisely comments / remarks with multiple concerns or praises and all comments are printed in narrative form. Grade / Result analysis reports by teacher, course, grade for an exam or sets of exams can produce a total score / grade that provides analysis of the student's performance on a variety of skills connected to the assessment standards which monitor’s a student's learning during an instructional program, helps diagnose decisions to help design effective instructional plans etc.
